We came home from the road trip to find this. Evidently, a crazy guy, probably under the influence of something, got into a fight with someone up the hill. I don't know who won the fight but the result was that the crazy guy got mad and attacked the two trees in front of our house and the one in front of the neighbor's house. Evidently, he was looking for a weapon with which to attack someone else (stranger) who had just gotten off the bus. The crazy guy man managed to break 5 of the 9 posts holding up the trees and did some damage with pulling over the trees. I think my trees will survive. I can't say the same for the neighbor's tree. I think it's had some damage at the roots. |
