Albany Bulb

We took a walk around the Albany Bulb. The Bulb used to be a landfill or dumping ground. Then it was a homeless camp. Today, it is an always-changing collection of random art.

This is a sculpture from the very beginning of the Albany Bulb.	This is from the 'main path' coming down to the beach.		There are a lot of painters at the Albany Bulb, including SNIFF.	This is a Burning Man relic. This item has been to Burning Man and returned.
	The dragon was more impressive in person than in this photo.	This is one of the game pieces left over from a game we played at the Albany Bulb back in 2002. The game was one part scavenger hunt, one part dominos.	Sometimes there are some kinda random things hidden in the twisted rebar.	This is the yellow brick road...
...which leads to a house of cards. Well, the house is made out of concrete but the shapes are all about cards.	We stumbled across a trebouchet in action. Unfortunately, this was the last run. The main throwing arm (I'm sure there is a technical term for this) broke on this run.	This is the trebouchet from a distance.	That is the Bay Bridge with all the cranes lined up to work on building a new Bay Bridge.
