Baking Bread

This was an experiment that actually worked. I had a plaster cast of a friend's breasts. The goal was to bake a loaf of bread that conformed to the mold while not destroying the mold.

After a series of experiments, I settled on a sweet roll dough. This dough makes good dinner rolls.

This is the first attempt with the dough rising in the mold. We propped the mold on top of two ceramic bowls. In a trial run, we used Crisco in an attempt to separate the dough from the mold. That turned the mold yellow. For the final attempt, we used a lot of white flour. This is what came out of the oven. BUT...the right side is mangled. The dough stuck to the mold.

This is the second attempt. It worked pretty well, although there are some rough spots. We patched up the cracks with an egg wash. Looks good! It also tasted good.
