Hunter's Point

We did some exploring around Hunter's Point.

Hunter's Point has a power plant.	I think this thing kinda looks like it might have been a trolly or a cable car. Whatever it was, today it's stuck in the water.	Hunter's Point has great sun, great views and one of the highest crime rates in the City. Much of the crime centers on the public housing projects. See those block houses on the hill? That would have to be a depressing place to live.	I don't know what this bird was. I think it was hunting at the bird park across the way.	This is the end of Heron's Head Point, a bird refuge or park thing. Of course, this is in Hunter's Point so few people will come to visit from anywhere else in the City. This bird refuge is also next to the power plant. I think that can't be good for the birds...or the people.
Hunter's Point started as a shipyard. There is still ship work that happens out here. This is not the Navy shipyard.	Hunter's Point has some great views. Still, I wouldn't want to live here. It's kinda far from the rest of the City and too violent.
