KSR Corvallis

We took another road trip to the Kinetic Sculpture race in Corvallis, Oregon.

This is the new Zampa bridge. At least, that's what I think its called. This was the first bridge on the way to Corvallis.	We stopped in Redding to see the Sundial Bridge. San Francisco is having a political crisis over how to pay for a safe, aesthetic bridge. Somehow, Redding managed to build this work of art.		The 'floor' of the bridge is some sort of glass or ceramic.	This is the structure of one of the supporting cables.
	We arrived at the Kinetic Sculpture Race. I think this is Loch Ness Monsta	This is one of the frog things. There were a few frog things.	Peace Peddler	Loch Ness Monsta?

That's A Mower, eh?	Metal Mayhem	Some Jesus evangelical thing. Their machine broke down pretty early.		This thing actually WALKED. This was some kind of ant. It wasn't fast but it had style points.
Not everything worked. Some machines needed more manual assistance than others. Something serious broke on this. They never really got started.	This is a heavy torque device who's name I can't remember.
This thing didn't actually race. It was really there to haul dead vehicles out of the mud and to provide a platform for the band.				Metal Mayhem
