This was described as my Flour Empire. I have a wide selection of flour for baking. This is what I needed for pizza dough.

I'm winding some of the yarn I picked up at the knitting convention.

The cat used to sit on this chair. This box seems an appropriate functional replacement for the cat.

Another person did the 'suicide-by-train' thing last night. This makes four CalTrain deaths in 2006.

I took a different train home. This one went past Drawbridge, a Silicon Valley ghost town.

Later in the evening, we got hail. This isn't normal in San Francisco.

In the morning, we went to Ikea. See the pile-o-stuff? It all fit in the Mighty Del Sol.

Today, the whole store seemed filled with children. I wonder if a trip to Ikea is some parent's idea of day care.

Tonight's movie: Lawrence of Arabia. We watched the movie while eating Middle Eastern food from one of the nearby coffeeshops.

I made the filling for some pot pies.

We celebrated Pi day (3.14) with chicken pot pies, lemon pie, and an educational film on the history of pi and Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land.

Today is the Ides of March. I've always wondered what that means, other than ominous for Caesar.

An Irish bar wasn't a great place to go on St. Patrick's Day.

I did some more knitting.

We went to see the dinosaurs of Half Moon Bay.

This is the beginnings of a sweater.

This is an Elvis wig.

I made more bed socks.

This is a wonderful time of year for my garden. All these flowers came out of my garden.

I think these socks are too small, even for me.

We've had a lot of rain recently. Fortunately, rain doesn't matter to CalTrain.

I finished the pieces of my Elvis wig. Now I need to sew them together.
