Bring along a stack of papers that include a 'Letters' section, pick a few ill-conceived submissions that are ripe for flaming, and write your own scathing response! See how contentious you can be, even if it's only about the latest proposal to provide better handicap access at public parks. Turn into the clueless liberal or ultra-reactionary crank that has been the mainstay of letters columns since their inception. We'll select the best submissions and mail them in to see if you've got what it takes to stir up discontent among fellow letter-writers, and maybe even start off a week-long exchange of absolutely pointless harangues guaranteed to make the paper's ombudsman take up heavier drinking than usual.
