Best of the Bay (?) Award Reception

Yes, you read that correctly! For reasons unknown to pretty much everyone, we won an actual award for going out to shit-hole bars and drinking. That's like winning a new microwave for having sex. The Best Of The Bay awards list the Dive-Bar group as "The Best Extremely Organized Bar Outing" (shared with the 4-year-old Cocktail Clique). The actual review is here (clowns and all):

I have not seen the actual invite (maybe this is all a big hoax), but there is talk of free alcohol at the reception, and you're all invited! Wear your best working-class bar clothes and be prepared for the Dive-Bar Group History And Trivia Game, which we'll play at the photo reception amongst the other BOB 'elite'. But remember that this isn't like our usual sessions at a Tenderloin bar, so no rough stuff, please.
