Sometimes when you're sitting alone at the bar trying to not look too much like a desperate alcoholic you have to find something to occupy your dwindling attention. If the bar happens to serve peanuts then you can engage in all sorts of stupid activities that involve the empty shells. Making little helmets for your fingertips is one such activity. But if you're ambitious, you'll have brought along twist ties or maybe a needle and thread to make something more complex.

The Bow Bow stands out among bars as one of the few places in the city that actually allows Bullhorn Karaoke, but we'll keep things a little quieter by playing with the damn peanut shells and pretending to mentally engaged. It'll be one of those kinds of nights.
