Who Said That? - 4652 Geary Blvd (at 11th)

Would You Believe?

With the election almost upon us, now is the time to review what politicians have actually said in the past. Sometimes it sounds kinda funny. For example, who uttered this intractable maze of existential logic?

"I believe what I said yesterday. I don't know what I said, but I know what I think, and, well, I assume it's what I said."

Answer: Donald Rumsfeld

If you think you know your political quotations, join us on Tuesday, October 12 and match them with the speaker. You will receive a card with politicians' names, along with a separate set of mismatched quotations. Your goal is to complete your card by trading quotations with other players so that your quotes match the names on your card. You might even have to resort to bartering drinks with stubborn holdouts if they hold a prime quotation that you need.

The cards and quotes will be handed out to participants from 7:00 up to 8:00. At 8:30 we will halt the trading and do a final tally. Obviously, the earlier you arrive, the better your chances of winning.

The prize? A George W. Bush Special-Edition Bar Pretzel (pre-chewed for your safety)
