| This was a one day road trip to Monterey with one stop along the way in San Jose. |
|
First stop, Lou's Living Donut Museum. The marketing was better than the museum (which seemed to mostly be about WWII aviation, than donuts) and the donuts were close relatives of the Silver Crest but still, a good time was had by all.

| Here's the Monterey Aquarium. I took this image with no flash, just holding the camera up to the tank & seeing what happened. Since I didn't have a tripod, things turned out a bit fuzzy but for the image, I think that's OK. |
 |
| Here's jellyfish. In the tank, they float the other way (upside down) but the image looks better with the poofy part on top so I flipped the image. Of course, we also got to see the diver in the Kelp Forest tank.
Last stop was a walk through Christmas in the Adobes - 20 historic buildings in Monterey, all decorated for Christmas with candles & cookies & stuff. No pictures from that part, though.
