Kitty under the covers...

December 11

Kitty at the Muddy Kitty Cocktail Lounge (wish I'd thought of that name, but I didn't). This is the bathroom sink, which doubles as a kitty watering hole. They go in the garden, make sure their paws are all muddy, and then come to the Muddy Kitty to drink. `

December 12

Sunrise from my backyard.

December 14

I ate some papaya. This was part of an exercise in committing to doing four unknown tasks each day. This day's task was to eat something new. I'd never eaten papaya before & I don't like it.

December 15

It's Burning Santa!

December 16

This is early Sunday morning in Chinatown. The markets are open. The streets are already crowded.

More snow...

December 24

Somewhere in Nevada during my almost 24 hour journey on Amtrak. The train was over 6 hours late! There was a broken rail, frozen switches that wouldn't move, passing freight trains to avoid & a medical emergency in one of the sleeper cars. And a bunch of other, little stuff that made for a LONG journey.

December 25

The microwave stuff on top of Bernal Hill.

December 26

I went on meditation retreat.
