It was knitting night at Muddy Waters.

It was Dive Bar night at Wild Side. This evening's activity was creating your own voodoo doll with play doh. I made a bunny, instead. It was a lumpy bunny.

A4AM airport trip meant a stop at the Silver Crest for donuts.

I think they use the same oil for deep frying donuts and french fries. And it hasn't been changed since the place opened in 1926.

I went looking for bats. But it was too late in the season. The Austin bats were done flying for the winter.

We went looking for dead people. While we didn't find any Monroe family members (well, one person with 'Monroe' as a middle name), the cemetary was still interesting.

I went to Niagra Falls.

Later the same day...a picnic on Bernal Hill. We had city lights views from three sides, no fog, really a beautiful night.

I have a lot of yarn. This is only part of it. The yarn got sorted today & the office/closet cleaned out.

An Italian restaurant...I think this place used to be busy, before the .com bubble burst & the attacks on September 11.

Another beautiful day in San Francisco....this picture taken from the top of some hill in Potrero Hill. We went wandering to some Open Studios.

My garden has been much neglected while I've been away. Today was the day to weed weed weed. I filled the compost bin to overflowing & created a couple other piles of dead plants.

A trip to the Presidio Pet Cemetary...this was a side trip on the 49 Mile Scene Drive around San Francisco.

On the way to the Haunted Barn in ghost costumes. Think we scared anyone? Probably only those who got close enough to accidently inhale some of those plastic table covers. (who knew plain, white sheets would be difficult to find?)

Halloween! This is me, in a recycled costume from previous years. We played Capture the Flag in the Castro with Market Street as the dividing line between the two territories. Gaggles of drag queens make for great cover when trying to capture the opposing flag or free a teammate from jail.
