Top of Bernal Hill, something after 6am. This was an attempt to see the sunrise from the top of Bernal Hill, with views of the City & the Bay on three sides. I made muffins & packed a thermos of hot chocolate. After weeks of gorgeous, clear weather, the sun didn't rise. Well, it did rise (you would have noticed if it hadn't). But instead of rosy fingers of dawn, we got a vaguely lighter area in the clouds. |

Kitty chasing the red dot. The laser pointer came with several lenses. One was the standard red dot. The others project different images: star, space ship & skull. Curiously enough, while the cats go crazy chasing the small, red dot, they run & hide when the skull or space ship emblem appears. |
