I made an octopus

Last night, I went to hospice.

My garden

Today, I planted gladiolas & dalias. In the evening, we went to a couple bookstores (research mission) & to the Gold Dust for a couple Irish Coffees.

I cooked again: two lemon pies, blue berry bread, polenta, mushroom, onion & tomato sauce for the polenta and a loaf of bread.

My meditation study group met. We ate.

Now I can't remember what I was making here....something with mushrooms & onions, obviously.

It's another cat. This is supposed to be a bird feeder in the shape of a cat. There is a hook on the back. Bird food goes in the cat's tail. Someone put it next to the real cat's food dish. She wasn't very happy at the idea of eating next to this creature. She kept skulking around her food dish (and not eating) until the fake cat was removed.

I made another hat.

Catnip in a cage...

The catnip is in acage so it can grow without the cat eating it.

Cool sink, huh? This sink was in the garage when I bought the house. I moved it into the yard so I would have room for a washer/dryer in the garage. Now the sink has its own stand and soon, a water faucet.

More brickwork in the garden. I'm planting lettuce & basil.

More yarn. I ordered wool from my fave North Sea wool broker & it arrived. Now I can get going on this red fair isle sweater and the Donut Duck.
