Where Old Bridesmaid Dresses Go to Diepssst@parody.orgToday I learned where old bridesmaid dresses go to die. They go to Goodwill to be reborn as festive wear for men. I went to Goodwill in search of a gaudy black dress for Halloween. There were three men in the women's formal wear section, trying on dresses in the aisles. As one of the more burly men tried to squeeze into a size 10 sequined dress, he looked at me and said, "Women's clothes are such a pain!" I commiserated with him and he told me that he really doesn't wear women's clothes that often. "Neither do I." I said. I found my dress. Think: Glinda the Good from the Wizard of Oz, in black.
