I made another red bowler hat. I think I left the last one on top of the car.

I used the same Fiber Trend pattern with one strand of Lite Lopi. Because the last one turned out too small for m head, I made a large this time.

I'm not so fussy about watching the felting progress. I just throw it in the washing machine, a front loader, with whatever jeans or towels I happen to be washing. It takes three trips to felt enough to where I want to wear the hat. Between washing, I let the hat dry with a mixing bowl inside for shaping. I put the hat on top of a vase when the hat is drying.

This is after two trips through the washing machine.	This is the final result. I think it might need a fourth trip, although I've been wearing it.	This shrank dramatically from the original hat to the post-washing version.
