I started with 17oz of a mohair blend that I'd picked up at Stitches West. This was hand spun, all there was of it. Once I finished this skein, there was no more to be had. A few months after purchasing the wool, I found what I thought was a perfect pattern, a Trendsetter Yarn cardigan. I hadn't knit a jacket like this before.

It mostly worked. What didn't work was size. I didn't check my gauge carefully enough and ended up with a jacket that's really much too big for me. BUT it feels wonderful. I like the result...except it keeps slipping off my shoulders. Size matters.
