Ball

I made a toy ball. This is a gift for an older sister of a new baby.

The yarn is J&S Shetland wool, jumper weight. I used #6 needles.

Cast on 3, turn, k3, cast on 3, turn, k6, cast on 3, turn, knit 9, continue until there are 15 stitches in each direction. Then switch to the second color and start over again. I filled it with polyester fiberfill and threw it in the laundry for 3 rounds.

This is the pre-washed state. The ball is going with the hat & booties.
