First Fair Isle

This is the first real Fair Isle sweater I've done. It turned out great! I followed the Burrastow Jumper pattern in Ann Feitelson's The Art of Fair Isle Knitting. I used Jamieson & Smith wool, ordered directly from their web site. The whole sweater was great fun to knit.

This was done on #3 needles at 8 st/inch.

Several of the motifs included a row of bright turquoise.

This is the bottom ribbing.

This is the inside of the steek. While I did machine stitch around the steek, I probably didn't need to. The wool is starting to felt.
